Property Of - CP Smith

I loved this one.

I laughed, swooned, cried and at one point i caught myself holding my breath. All of which earned me odd looks from my husband.

We have an extremely hot alpha detective, hilarious heroine, murder, suspense and great secondary characters.

I have read all books by this author and have loved them all, but this for me was the best yet.

Birthday Goodness

My family and friends have got gift buying for me perfected. Books, chocolate, jewellery, candles, and anything owl shaped.

And if that's not enough my husband took me to Burger and lobster where I consumed a fair amount of burger and lobster all washed down with the most amazing cocktails.

I think it's safe to say that I have been spoilt rotten this year.

Never Cry Wolf : Amazing True Story of Life Among Arctic Wolves - Farley Mowat

Even though there is so much controversy whether this book is fact or fiction i thought it was an absolute joy to read.

The writing witty and engaging, it was evident that Mowat loves his subject.

A great book for any one interested in wolves.

Reading progress update: I've read 100%.

Beloved - Corinne Michaels

With all the high ratings I had seen for this one I was really excited to start this, I am so disappointed.

The heroine whined constantly and the hero was one dimensional. Normally I don't mind insta-love but with these characters it felt completely unrealistic.

I won't be reading the next one.

Reading progress update: I've read 100%.

Dimitri - Roxie Rivera

Better than the first in the series, this one had an actual story line.

I am hoping that the next book gets even better.

Reading progress update: I've read 100%.

Raze - Tillie Cole

For once a book that lives up to the hype.

A very addictive read.

A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens

A timeless classic that never gets old.

I read this out loud with my children this year and they loved it as much as I do. I think I see a new family tradition in the making.

Penguin's Poems For Love (Penguin Hardback Classics) - Laura Barber

A wonderful collection of poems covering all aspects of love.
Suddenly, greedily, deeply, eternally, brutally, fatally.
No matter what type you are looking for you will find it in here.
I really enjoyed reading through this.
My favourites were Reprise by Ogden Nash and Having a Coke with You by Frank O'Hara.
